Black Box of AirAsia flight QZ8501 recovered
After weeks of searching, searchers have finally recovered the black boxes from the missing AirAsia flight QZ8501 and the fuselage of the plane has also been reportedly located.
He also said that the full report on the discovery has not yet been prepared and so far the head of the search and rescue agency has not officially confirmed any discovery. The discovery of the fuselage of the plane might be an important part of the discovery as it would have many of the bodies of the people who died during the clash and the fuselage is likely to still contain their bodies.
So far, the search team has recovered about 48 bodies and more than 100 are still missing who are believed to be strapped to their seats and hence the discovery of fuselage is considered more important. Majority of the people in the fight were Indonesian and there were also people from other countries including Singapore, Malaysia, France, South Korea and Britain.
Divers recovered the cockpit voice recorder that records all the sounds on the deck of the flight and is a main source of evidence for investigators who are researching the cause of crash. The device is believed to hold important data and the conversations of the pilots and others in the cockpit to know the reason for the crash. Although the device has been found, the investigation will take months to be completed.
