HTC One M9 rumoured specs
It’s been only a little while since the company unveiled HTC One M8, rumours about HTC One M9 have already started surfacing.
The company has recently announced HTC One E8 and there are other rumours that HTC is building HTC One M8 Prime, as a variant to its flagship HTC One M8.
Looking at the leaked photos, the design has not changed much but definitely has been refined. As it is customary with all flagship devices, HTC refined the design of HTC One M7 for HTC One M8 and the next in the flagship, M9 can be expected to come with the similar design with tweaks and minor refinements.
It might come with a curved metal back with two BoomSound speakers in the front side of the device and dual Ultrapixel camera with dual-LED flash on the back.
The side bezels are super thin making them almost invisible while the top and bottom bezels have become thinner than they were on M8. The top bezel accommodates the camera and speaker while the bottom bezel is a bit thicker, which may be due to the black band that seems to be unnecessary except for making room for the logo.
There is also a camera button. The HTC One M9 has a slimmer profile compared to its predecessor which measured a mere 9.4 mm. While there is an expectation that the screen size might be larger, the company may make it up with just slimming down the bezels which would make the screen look larger than M8.
It is also rumoured that the device will support 4G networks which would almost be a necessity when the device debuts as all its direct rivals will be released with 4G support.
There is no word yet from the company and time will tell if these rumours will turn out to be true.
