Narendra Modi vs Barack Obama
Narendra Modi born on 17 September 1950 in Vadnagar town. Narendra Modi have a great career in politics, he become a chief minister of gujarat in 2001 and continue upto 2014. He give resignation from the position of chief minister when he become of Member of Parliament from Varansi in 2014. He is member of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh(RSS).
Narendra Modi and Barack Obama are politicians who have climbed to the echelon of their political careers. Modi is India’s Prime Minister who was propelled to the top in 2014 after his Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) clinched majority seats in the Lok Sabha (Lower House). Like Obama, Modi’s career is dotted with controversies and successes. He was accused of negligent omissions, for instance, at the height of communal riots witnessed in 2002 and extra-judicial executions.
However, he has cemented his political resume with various successes that have made him a key player in Indian governance and his political party (BJP). Under his stewardship, BJP triumphed in the 2002, 2007 and 2012 elections for the legislative assembly, with Modi remaining as chief minister throughout. During his tenure as the chief of the Gujarat government, his standing was bolstered by a booming economy. Later as Prime Minister, Modi started to steer a crippling economy by investing in infrastructure and promoting free trade. Modi is seen by many as a pragmatist who leans towards economical reform.
On the other hand, Obama who sits in the Oval Office in Washington is a Democrat. Like his counterpart Modi, he is a divisive figure at home. He clinched the presidential seat in 2008 and has shaped the American political landscape with sweeping reforms like ObamaCare in social and health care. He also came to the limelight in 2010 when he launched a Comprehensive Plan for Energy Security. This policy is underpinned on exploring green energy grids, including hybrid cars in the federal fleets and an initiative to tap into local offshore gas and oil in Alaska and the Gulf of Mexico.
Despite his liberal views and official support of gay rights, Obama’s term has not been a smooth journey. Under his leadership, Washington has faced foreign-policy nightmares, for instance the Ukrainian crises surreptitiously orchestrated by Russia, the quandary in Iraq after the bloom of ISIL, and the Chinese economic conundrum in the Asia Pacific after congress ditched his trade pact recently in 2015.
